The view from the Gardens was outstanding. It was early spring so there was limited flowering of the plants, however, the garden was in serious need of tending and showed signs of neglect.

I'd seen pictures on these gardens and was so pleased to visit them. The walk there is lovely through the cobbled laneways looking out on the Valley of the Dragone. The gardens are quite extensive so allow yourself plenty of time to take it all in. The views are spectacular walking along the Avenue of Immensity and entering the Terrace...

I have been in this place with local friends. To arrive to Villa Cimbrone you have to walk through narrow small streets, which is very nice, as you can also smell the air of lemons and other typical local plants... When you arrive at th egate you have th eimpression to enter in a fairy tale...the house (I didnt enter...

Great exercise getting to the top, but when you get there, and go inside, the gardens are gorgeous (though I'm sure they would have looked even more beautiful, but many flowers and roses were just starting their bloom). The view from Terrace of Infinity is breath-taking!
If you are staying in Amalfi, take the Sita bus up to Ravello (cost is 2.50 euros). The bus stops by a pedestrian tunnel. Walk through the tunnel and then go to the left. It is about a 10 minute walk to Villa Cimbrone. At one stage , you can either go left or right. Don't worry. Both routes end...

Magnificent gardens with breathtaking views. The view of Infinity is spectacular!! You feel like you are walking up in the clouds. A must see!!
We found this gorgeous property with the most incredible views and huge lush gardens. After a week of breathtaking sites, this is where we choose to spend our last day on the Amalfi Coast. It was so beautiful we are looking at staying at the Villa on our next visit.
Yet another medieval ruin adopted by wealthy Englishman about 100 years ago and, with assistance of famous landscape architects transformed into outstanding gardens overlooking Amalfi Coast both east and west. Topped off by famous infinity view with classical busts. A little up and down to get to the gardens, but very easy (flat) walking once you get there.
