It was the first time for my family and myself to make such a trip, and it was our most exciting experience in the Dordogne. The water level in the river is very low and it's also very quiet so the risk of getting the boat turned over is very small. We made the trip during in August, the cool... More

The trip down the Dordogne was fine. We coasted down 16 km of river and had a most enjoyable time. The problem was that we had to wait over an hour to be picked up - half an hour later than promised as a worst case scenario. When we were finally picked up the van driver drove recklessly while talking... More

October 3 - canoed from Calviac to Vitrac and saw not a souL. Just heron, kingfisher, ducks... So peaceful and great service from the company.

The weather was gloriously hot and there was no where better to be than on the river. 10 miles of seeing the Dordogne as we've never seen it before and this time we managed to keep the canoe the right way up.

A canoe trip down the Dordogne on the stretch passing La Roque Gageac and Beynac is a must not to be missed. No argument with the equipment supplied or start location only the casual, poor customer service of this particular outfit. No problems with booking and taking the canoe. But at the end of the trip you land at an... More

We rented a kayak for 2... best way vs canoe. We stopped several times along the way for beers. The effort is low as the river flows well. But you can't beat the views of the two villages Roque + Beynac. Next time we would get there earlier and do the longer trip.

We picked this canoe firm because as far as we knew, they were the only ones that would pick us up in Sarlat. We did not have a car. Other than some confusion about where the pick up would be exactly and it not being marked plus the driver being 15 minutes late, we had a super experience. Once we... More

Really pleasant canoe experience, but unfortunately we did not reach olympic standards. We could have done with a brief bit of information on steering etc as our canoeing experience is limited. Had a lovely day though and would use this company again.

Wonderful way to see the river life and view the cliffs, chateaux and surrounding area in the most peaceful and relaxing way - just float down the river and take in the breathtaking scenery and wildlife.
