Enjoyed checking out the outside and inside of the cathedral. Arrived at around 2:30 (14h30) on a Saturday afternoon. Wanted to do the audioguide tour; however, we were told that because of a wedding, we would not be able to do this until 4:00 p.m.--even though the wedding was taking place inside an inner area of the cathedral, and many... As stunning as all the more popular cathedrals but with the quietness and serenity that allows you to take in all the wonders and reflect on the history.

This is a massive cathrdral which dominates. We guided ourselves around it. It is worth seeing. There is a maze, though was covered in chairs when we visited. Don't forget to look at the carvings and the crying angel.

We came across it by accident, what a wonderful suprise. Similar to the one in Paris, but older. Plenty of parking, cafes, and shopping nearby.

Amazing - a voluminous space. We were blown away by the size of the Cathedral as we entered. Just the sheer size impressed more, than say Notre Dame in Paris (Notre Dame d'Amiens is twice the size). And the sculpture work on the door arches has to be seen in all its glory. Definitely worth a day trip to Amiens... More

It is one of France's most splendid of Cathedrals. Cool inside in Summer, one may marvel at the huge nave, the abundance of decorations and the magnificience of it all. Please visit

Although not as well-preserved as the one in Paris, this cathedral is worth the visit to Amiens. Supposedly, this cathedral represents the largest Gothic cathedral that can be possibly built with traditional methods and materials. In fact, the builders may have overstretched that limit, as evidenced by the cracks all over the interior walls and roofs. Too bad they don't... More

The outside design and carvings are to be amazed at. The intricacies of sculpting can only be marvelled at.

Fabulous Gothic Cathedral.....enormous arches constructed in the 13th Century - Amazing ! Loads of grotesque carvings on the outside of the building. Certainly worth a visit.....our group of 4 adults and 6 children aged between 5 and 12 all appreciated it all. Something for everyone here.
