Can I first start of by saying this was by far some of the best skiing in Canada , the snow is just perfect and there are so many trails it took us 2 days to get to some of them !.As it was the last few weeks of season, we were treated to most runs being our own so... More

Such a huge resort and so much terrain to explore for all levels of boarders and skiers. A family friendly resort with most accommodation being ski in ski out so getting up and going in the morning is so easy. The shops and grocery tore is reasonably priced, good coffee in the village centre, and great rental facilities. Try the... More

Great skiing area for intermediates and family friendly. Two criticisms. If you happen to go the last 2 weeks of the season, everything is getting towards shutting down - not too tragic but gets annoying when items appear on menu's but aren't actually available. The only grocery shop shelves also start to look a little bare. More seriously, the ski... More

We skied there for a week during March break. Great snow with no trace of ice. Snowed everyday but only once more than 20cm. Excellent terrain but the top is always foggy or windy.

There was plenty of snow and there were a lot of well groomed not too challenging pistes for a family holiday. The lifts were a little awkward to get off as they had built the snow up too high so you had your knees bent so high it was hard to stand up (but then I am not a spring... More

We spent 10 days at this resort and really enjoyed it. But having skied in many other places this is only really a "local" weekend resort. The skiing was good but the conditions late in the season were variable and as a low resort there was no opportunity to head to higher ground for the better snow. By the 3rd... More

We've been 15 times to Big White. The snow is usually powdery. In April 2012, we had an inch or two of fresh powder and sunny days. In April 2013 we had the warmest weather ever with California-like conditions. It's not as cold as the Rockies, generally. If you like Deer Valley, Utah or Snowmass in Aspen or Northstar at... More

Our first trip to Big White having skiied at Whistler and local Vancouver mountains. Can't say enough good things about Big White! We will forever be spoiled for the ski conditions, and everywhere we went the staff (mostly Aussies) were helpful, friendly and patient. Great resort!

I have now been to Big White ski resort 7 times and every time it is hard for me to leave. This was my first trip without children so overall a different experience. I got to go out more after a day of skiing and spent time with the "locals" having an absolute ball. There are many things I love... More

Our family had the best time at Big White! There are so many options for chair lifts and the conditions when we were there were very good. It was windy and cold at the top of the mountain but warmed up as you went down the hills. I would definitely consider visiting again during future ski seasons. It truly blows... More
