Excellent day out. Could be improved quite a lot if they allowed you onto more of the static display of trams. A really good living museum. Something for everyone. Variety of trams on display is very wide. Great period buildings and street scenes. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Good value.

We visited here with our grandchildren on a cold damp day in October. Wish we had waited for a sunny day, although the children enjoyed the tram rides the cobbles were a little slippery underfoot. Fabulous nostalgia, and genuine living history in a rural setting. Buy ticket once and return as many times as you want in a year as well as unlimited tram rides on the day. We visited during the Spring break, which was freezing, but still had an enjoyable day. Lots too look at inside and out including restored trams, history of trams, restoration in action and some interactive displays appropriate for children. What a lovely place to visit. Plenty for both young and old and brings back lovely memories. There is lots to see and do and some little cafes to eat in when you feel peckish.
