A very interesting place to visit because when you walk around you will find that the water is completely different to look at than normal. It creates a wonderful setting!

A stunning place and back after 35 years. The walk round was idyllic and the colours of the pool just as I remember them. Despite the rain whilst in the Tea room eating our scones it rounded off the perfect end to our beautiful stay in Dorest until the next time!

The pool is beautiful and has such nice colours. There is a fun trail for you children to do whilst walking around so they dont get bored. Also there are play areas for them which will also make them happier. There is a gift shop there for people to buy souvenirs, tea shops - which by the way the cream... More

A very beautiful and tranquil place for a nice walk, the blue pool is beautiful especially on a sunny day. Bit pricey though, lucky we had 2 for 1 vouchers. The cream teas are delish.

my wife and I visited on a cold bright day in April, there were few other people about so we were lucky enough to stumble upon a group of deer at the back of the pool, amazing. There are several routes to walk, each giving a spectacular view of the pool and / or thye surrounding countryside. we had tea... More

Amazing, lovely walk through the forested grounds around the lake which has stunning colours. The bears of Wareham are also there, play area for younger children, nice tea rooms with gluten free options, museum and plant shop and the bears. Tucked away but worth a visit, breath taking views of the pool and wheelchairs can be taken around (good to... More

Its a great place to have a wood walk, even for grand kids around the squirrel trail. The food is honest, well cooked and delicious. You must try it if you visit Dorset. We have been many times.

Very pricey for a few paths through pine woods round a large blue pool with pretty average tea room, gift shop and loos claiming to have won 'Loo of the Year' awards in recent years (just seemed like average public loos to me). You can't access the Tea Room without paying to go in so no good for walkers. All... More

Suitable for all age groups & fitness abilities. I once brought a group of residents from a care home, some were in wheelchairs to enjoy the view & afternoon teas. Best to go on a sunny day when the colour of the water is more impressive. However disappointed in the cafe. My last visit was over Easter & felt a... More

Lovely quiet location with wooded trails, one of trails has a little challenge for the kids to find model squirrels located in a variety of trees. There is an entrance fee sadly, as this attraction is privately owned
