I have been to the Kodiak Island Brewing Company a few times over the past two years. These folks do a great job with their beer, and they are always busy. At this time, you can only get Kodiak Island Brewing Co beers on Kodiak Island; I don't believe this is going to change. If you are in Kodiak, you... More

We visited the Kodiak Brewing Company several times during out stay in Kodiak and always had a good time. The have 4-6 types of local beer on tap and serve 1/2 and full pints. All the prices are reasonable and all of the beer is good. (Tip: the 1/2 pints are 1/2 price of the full pints so if you... More

Like beer, must stop! New location is great. There license allows you to sample two pints of beer during limited hours. Other establishments on the island also serve this locally crafted beer. My favorite name - Sarah Pale Ale. My favorite to drink - Snowshoe Pale.

They make some local beer that are quite different. Some are good and some are too bitter for us midwesterners.

Everyone that enjoys a good draft beer should stop in. Only two pints allowed but you can buy a "JUG" and take it with you after your sure of the one you like the best. Price isn't too bad and the atmosphere is good too.

Put on your Xtra tufs and head down for a pint (or two, but no more). The new location (near McDonalds) is spacious and hip. Beers are all good and reasonably priced. A must stop in Kodiak.

We were able to sample some beers at the brewery right before they started moving locations. Very tasty! Some cool names like "Sarah Pale Ale" (you bet'cha!) and "Wingnut" (A guy hanging off the wing of a float plane.

The brewery is across from the harbor and shares a building with a car parts shop. It isn't much to look at, but the beers are tasty and they were a good value. They were only open until 7pm and have a two pint limit. You can buy growlers to go.
