Everything here, the shops, the Restaurants and the Bars were clean, well attended and reasonbly priced. You expect to pay a bit of a premium when you buy in the best parts of town but I have to say that most were still pretty reasonable. There has been a lot of money spent here and the locals are rightly proud...

This is one of my favourite places we visited in the Algarve, the marina is a beautiful to walk around and with its variety of restaurants, (including many with tables on decking over the water) and the relaxing atmosphere, it makes it a great place to go for a meal and look in the shops, definitely worth visiting! http://www.seeourfamilytravels.com/portugal.html
Nice walk along the beach front to get to Villamoura and stay and have something to eat, great atmosphere in the night time.
everything has a price hike but some great food, drinks and boats. got a bit ripped off at the restaurant Prime, food and drink was fab though but was more expensive than on the menu! casino, loads of posh people and boats - a must visit though - nice harbour walk, cocktails, ice cream parlours, food drink, bars etc

We visited the marina both on a scorching afternoon and also on an evening. Both times were lovely. We ate and had a few drinks and found the atmosphere to be really pleasant and relaxing. There was a beach just a few minutes walk away, which was absolutely gorgeous.
