“Paradise amongst the mountains”

If you don't have long in Tajikistan, for goodness sake put this at the top of your destination list. The joruney across Tajikistan from Khojand or Dushanbe is dramatic and a treat in itself. There are Seven lakes - Seven beauties of Shing in Penjikent region. Its only 65 km drvie way from penjikent. Bettter to drive to Shing village and from there start hiking to the lakes. Very good homestays available are over there. More
