We had a lovely time at Cockington Green. Some of the displays were quite funny and they were all immaculate. I wouldn't drive down to Canberra just to go to Cockington Green, but if you are in Canberra, it is definitely worth going for a visit. The kids playground could probably do with a face-lift and we found the café... More

Really cute place to take the kids as the miniature models are excellent. Our kids loved looking at all the buildings from around the world. The grounds themselves are kept very pristine, but the actual models and figurines could really use some updating. They look like they have not been up kept for some time, and it really takes away... As an old Canberra boy I recall CG being of just marginal interest. Some interesting miniature landscapes. It was the type of place that was a B list 30 minute item on day bus trips for tourists. Wind forward 25 years. Wow! I would easily spend a half day here. The miniature landscapes are now by the dozen and represent... More

We went on a sunny Saturday morning at 9:30 (opening time) which was just perfect because there were only a few people around. We had lots of elbow room when taking photographs of the gardens that are the loveliest we have ever seen. It was our second time to visit and a Mother's Day treat for Mum. We had the... More

A miniature garden which is overrated but pleasant enough to view. Thankfully the chicken and vegetable soup was a treat in the cafe. The train ride was also pleasant but all in all, expensive !

Although it may not be everyone's cup of tea, a wonderful display of homes/places to view. The steam train ride (part of a special entry fee) was probably a little boring for our 9 and 8 year olds, but still cute! Can be viewed in about an hour.

Gorgeous miniature village, with lots to look at. Loved the variety of displays. Gardens and lawns well manicured. Nice area for picnic, cafe also available - prices were reasonable.
