The restaurants are all too touristy for me, it's not cool like Bondi is, but still it's not too bad.

I'm always drawn to Darling Harbour as it's a great resting and eating place full of a stunning array of restaurants. Heaps of seating around the waters edge, play areas for kids not far away. Short walk to Chinese Garden and Hay Market and the Maritime Museum. Crowded but easy to find your own vantage point to rest.
A sunny afternoon in Darling Harbour and the pavement cafes are crammed with all nationalities enjoying the area. Shops, a maritime museum, mini tour train, boats or just sit back and enjoy the view. The ferry runs to and from Circular Quay or you might take the monorail into the city. Night time and the bars and hotel lights glitter...

The Darling Harbor is a great place to visit, they have a large variety of excellent restaurants, shops, neat fountains, and the Chinese Garden is close by. It is pretty during the day, but I recommend going at dusk, when there are great happy hour prices for cocktails, the sun is setting over the horizon, and the lights of the...

The restaurants along side darling harbour just makes for a fantastic atmosphere. It really comes alive at night. The only complaint I would give is that the restaurants are a little pricey. I remember being charged $4.50 for sauce on my steak! I guess you kind of expect this in darling harbour. Highly recommended. Would definitely go back again.
We walked around the Darling Harbour area several times during our recent trip to Sydney, went both at night and during the day, very vibrant area of Sydney, great choice of places to eat, even on the Saturday night we were there had the added bonus of a fireworks display. Also very large kids playground in Darling Quarter that our...

The harbor is easily reached from Sydney and features restaurants and especially the Maritime Museum. This well done. We especially liked the visit to a replica of the ship sailed by Captain Cook. Guides on board explained how the ship worked and made the visit very interesting. The exhibits were well displayed and we stayed much longer than expected due...

You must visit this harbour too, very pleasant, great views and attractions. Specially the maritime museum. The aquarium or zoo don't look like much and are overpriced. To reach here, Take the ferry from the circular Quay for some great views along the way.
We walked over the bridge to get there from staying in Central downtown. A beautiful view. Lots of shops, restaurants, a great park to bring children too and all within walking distance. We went early in day just to see it and went back for dinner as it was so nice. Would highly recommend.
