I loved walking through the Botanic Gardens to get to the Opera House. There is lots of diversity in plantlife, and the gardens make a relaxing break only a short distance way from the city. The ibis birds also provide great entertainment!
Beautiful semi-tropical gardens almost in the city, full of plants, birds and great views. The birds are so tame it is like being in walk in avery - after the bussle of the city this is a complete contrast!
The Gardens border the Sydney CBD and plan to spend some time here. Bird life is also amazing - but as a tip wear some good walking shoes as also can be a bit hilly - depending on the path you take.
Amazing to walk through the Botanic Gardens while having the view on the buildings of CBD. You can see exotic plants and animals, find places to relax as well as exciting walks along the harbour to see the bridge and the Opera Hlouse.
