I love walking around this park. So much to see. The fountain, lovely gardens. The War Memorial with the large pool of Remembrance. Lunch time crowds flock here along with the pigeon's to eat the sandwiches.
I was very impressed by this beautiful park in the heart of downtown Sydney. My hotel was right across the street. Trees were absolutely astonishing. And the collection of birds was amazing.
The pool of reflections is amazing as it has statues of myths and legends e.g. minotor. It brings some culture to the place and is educational as parents tell the stories behind the statues.

As I was visiting on business this was a great place just to chill out and watch the world go by for a couple of hours.

The entire park is easy to walk around,...

On a warm day, everyone goes out and picnics on the lawn or plays games. I was told there were possums in the trees but I...

Would have received an excellent rating but for the mass removal of trees that seem to be going on... and should have 'priority' pedestrian links across the connector roads..........
Yes, pretty pretty with Egrets prancing around instead of pigeons but I was surprised at how small it was. It's no Regents Park thats for sure!
