I loved the museum! It was individualised and quirky and I spent about 3 hours there. Lots of information on people who shaped central Australia which was great.

This was a "must do" item during our time in Alice. The staff in the art gallery were friendly. Loved the exhibitions, and the ticket price enables you to come back multiple times over a number of days, which is necessary as there are lots of things to see!

We arrived about lunch and were disappointed that there was no cafe, but the craft shop made up for it. Lots of local crafts and one of the artists was working in the back and showed us around the workspace. The museums are small but very personal and interesting. After watching a movie about excavation of fossils, the scientist highlighted just walked by and the cashier introduced us. There was a Xmas fair going on and the local children were performing. Lovely, personal experience. Aboriginal Art in the Museum was better than what we saw in Sydney. Well worth the...

We were on a tour with Emu Run which was absolutely excellent, one of the stops was the Alice Springs Cultural Precinct which in itself is wonderful. Unfortunately the only cafe available is at the Cultural Precinct happened to be closed on the day that we were there, as you can imagine 40 degree heat and no where to buy...

I hopped off here from the hop on hop off day tour (which lasted 2 days) and had an enjoyable walk around seeing a great variety of things, art, plane, hanger,cemetery (very historical) etc. Actually 70mins wasn't enought time to see it all.
