There is something for everyone here from the riverside open air lagoon with it's own sandy beach to shopping and sophisticated dining if wanted. Also convenience foods but no McDoanlds I am pleased to say More

The locals do not realize how amazing this park is. Stunning, peaceful, unique and a real treasure for any city. They take care of it and its very clean and I wish more cities took this park as an example of what can be done. More

I had lunch at the South Bank Surf Club. Excellent food, nice spot at the second level: nice view on the sandy beach. The Chef is a famous Chef winner of several awards! Before and after, I wandered along the coast. BEAUTIFULL: very quiet. You cannot believe you are so close to the city. More

We LOVE this area! Market at the weekend, buskers, people practicing dancing in the open air amphitheater, the museum and arts centre, a lovely walk along the modern pergola covered with Bourganville.... Several restaurants to chose from. and the lagoons with the sand. Just perfect for a lovely day out More
