I liked the layout of the Zoo it was easy to get around. I didn't like the fact that the Giant Panda's which were the primary reason for visiting the Zoo were sound asleep.

This is one of my favourite zoo's, I remember visiting when they were renovating exhibits years ago & they had employed people to spend days studying the animals reactions to their new environments. Alot of thought & effort went into this zoo & it's lovely.

Took our granddaughters to the zoo primarily to see the pandas. The girls were not disappointed in all they observed. One drawback, however, was the price of the food from the kiosk. Too expensive.

I took my son who loves Reptiles, for his birthday, to the Reptiles BEHIND THE SCENE TOUR - both he and I loved it.
The keeper was fantastic and we were able to do things like get in with the giant Tortoises and feed them. We saw the Alligators up close but not too close. My son got to hold...

I am a Zoo Pass member so I know my stuff.
This zoo is nothing but average unless you want to fork out the cash to see the Pandas, Its nice and compact so there is_ not a massive amount of walking. Great if you re pushing a stroller. But the animals pay for this by being a little cramped...
