It's a great place for the family to hang out for half a day. My son absolutely enjoyed seeing the animals especially the chickens.

After years of hearing about it we finally got the excuse to go - a 3 year old grandaughter. This is a great place for kids to get up close to these great placid animals and even cuddle the guinea pigs. The only complaint would be the setup for the cafe - if you want to sit down you have...

Busy during school holidays but well worth the visit when you see your child's eyes light up when they hand feed animals. Wasn't a fan of sitting at tables trying to eat lunch with chickens (more to the point - chicken poop) on the ground at your feet. Keeping the kids clean was a effort, but I guess that's part...

Convenient an close to Melbourne city. Fruit/vegie gardens were below par - perhaps the change of season. Nice to see many families enjoying the place.
This is a great little place to take the family. Lots of animals and a great walking track around the farm offers you the chance to strech your legs and breathe in some fresh air while the kids can run around and have fun looking and patting all the animals.
Took my three daughters to the farm today, mostly for my youngest who at 17 months is obsesses with animals. First off we didn't have enough change for parking and the machine only accepted coins. So I had to beg 50 cents off someone which embarrassed my eleven year old to no end!

There wasn't a lot see and do for adults but the kids had a great time running around in the paddock, climbing the haystack, looking at the farm animals and patting the guinea pigs.
We had brunch...

Do yourself a favour and don't go to this farm. Arrived at farm with my 4 year old to find a few chickens and all other padocks empty. Enquired the reception staff who told me "we don't place the animals around the paddock to ensure you can view them" when I said that the paddocks were empty he said oh...

Conveniently located close to the city, this is a lovely place to take young children to get close to the animals and feed them too. The parking is good with an off street parking lot in the same street. It is only $6 for all day parking.
There is an entry fee to go into the farm but it is...

Wonderful inner-Melbourne spot, on the banks of the Yarra - VERY reasonably priced, and you can buy a bag of food for the animals at minimal charge. The Farm has all the normal farmyard animals you would expect and room to feed them, touch them and even watch the cow being milked. Every time we go our son has to...
