Visited the Old Melbourne Goal on a cold wet Melbourne Winter's day! Very educational and they did it tough then. Not sure if its the cold but it is spooky and eerie and occassionally you get a chill down your spine; especially in the place where they hang the condemened! More

I have been to the Gaol a few times with students and it is interesting, the guides are really informative and it's a good place to learn about Melbourne's history. I would be too scared to do the night tours, though.... More

The attempt to makle it a realistic experience was way overdone. Would have been much better to just give us a tour and tell us about what used to happen, not make a stupid attempt to treat us as convicted criminals. More
