WOW this was a great experience in visual arts. Lots of technics and amazing lighting. One of the best visual shows Ive seen. Vocals/Dance/Costumes all great and not to mention King Kong himself. Very very clever. Especially loved the scene where he is running carrying the girl in his hand. Loved it!

Amazing performance and Kong was clearly the highlight of the show - pretty amazing stuff for sure. So very energetic. Kong was so real like I did not really notice the Kings men!!

King Kong – Crap!!! No story line Clarity of people’s voices lost People next to me left after first act, people distracted ( going to toilet, on iPhones). I was thinking I don’t like it and was relieved when my friend who goes to every musical in town agreed. He even had a sleep. The worst $75 spent – the... More

Brilliant show. I and my 10 year old boy loved it. Just seeing King Kong himself is worth it. I don't think this is as good as, for example the Lion King, but it's still a must see if you can get to it.

Are we the only ones that thought the musical was the worst they've seen? King Kong himself was incredible- jaw dropping- and the team maneuvering him were the best on stage. The main cast were good vocalists but not great performers. Whenever the cast came together for a group number I blocked my ears and frowned. It was horrible!! The... More

We went to Melbourne for our wedding anniversary and saw King Kong. It was excellent. We had been to the Regent Theatre before and was not disappointed.

I absolutely love this theatre. I have seen a few shows here with King Kong being the most recent one. What an amazing show, and the main lead has an extraordinary and very powerful voice. Definitely a show worth seeing just for the sheer size of KK! He's huge! And the Regent is such a beautiful theatre, with its old... More

We have attended performances at The Regent Theatre many times, It is an very elegant theatre, well maintained and has great shows. On every occasion we have there we have never had any problems with seeing everything on the stage. The seats are wider than the seats at The Princess Theatre and there is alot more leg room so its... More
