We have been buying from Brookfields Vineyards intermittently for the last 14 years. This is our favourite winery. Sharon (co-owner) is always really welcoming. We have bought some reserve wines from them to keep for special occasions and they have always been absolutely beautiful. Their sauvignon blanc never fails to please. A fantastic winery with great owners.

If you only visit one winery in Hawkes Bay make it this one, and that is saying something given the number of high quality vineyards in the area. Wonderful tastings from people passionate and enthusiastic about their wines. You won't leave without buying something!

The cellar door is casual but the people are very informative and highly engaged in their business. That they offer tasting from right across the range is quite unique in our experience. This was our first stop on our Napier wine tour and it was excellent. Skilled, knowledgeable and entertaining guide, and great wine. Shame this was the first vineyard as the rest paled in comparison after such a high standard!

Brookfields is one of the smaller vineyards and their wine is great. Having not been able to find it outside of restaurants I was very happy to make a visit. After a bit of drama with a puncture in our bike, we got dropped off here and had the host to ourselves and to say that the 'tastings' were generous is an understatement and even better is that the wine is lovely.

This was our final stop on our 3 winery tour. The vineyards were beautiful and the staff member leading our tasting was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining.
