Absolutely brilliant! Visited this place three times during my stay in Wellington and found plenty of things to see and do. Your admission price also entitles you to visit the sister museum in Wellington. Great value. More

You haven´t seen NZ if you did not visit Te Papa. It´s just a great cultural, geological and nature experience. More

Wow, what an exhibit! My partner and I attended the Museum and so glad we did. It has many floors detailing every aspect of New Zealand. It is free entry and has free wi-fi too. No visitor to Wellington should leave without first visiting Te Papa. More

We had one day in Wellington and stayed overnight in the Museum hotel in order to have lots of time at Te Papa. What a disappointment. we barely scratched the surface here, but since it is free, come and go as you please! kids can only handle a short visit anyway, so you can just come back another day. the place has a nice vibe. More

I found myself spending hours there! It's not like an ordinary museum. Technology has been used to good effect and when you need a break there's a comfortable lounge area halfway to chill out with light refreshments or a busy cafeteria downstairs for lunch. It caters for all ages with interactive exhibits for children and thought provoking social commentary for... More
