This area just a few blocks away from my hotel. The streets in the heart of the district are closed to traffic so it's nice to just walk through the area. There are many shops, restaurants, and bars.

Cuba Street is always an interesting place to spend a few hours on any day in Wellington. Friday Nights there is now a great little night market going on. There are a number of tasty food stalls offering some great treats. Artists, food and entertainment on a Friday evening it is a happening place. We ate at Sichuan Spice, great... More

I walked down this street by accident. I stopped off and had brunch which was nice, coffee very strong. This is a great street full of people walking around and there is plenty of dining places to enjoy!

This is a fun street to walk along, expecially on the weekends. It's always full of life with lots of shops restaurants and cafes. This is where we spent all of our weekends hanging out.

Cute little restaurants along Cuba street, some interesting shops and second hand book stores. The Friday night market is tiny but quite interesting.

Cuba street district has everything, department stores, specialty shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, clothes.. if you want something you may well find it here. You can grab a drink at an outdoor bar and enjoy the atmosphere in the mall, sometimes there are buskers. Or wander along looking for a cafe that suits your mood.

Cuba St is a great place to shop, have fun, hang out, etc..Although I didn't buy anything there, I had a great time window shopping, browsing through the shops which are really different of Auckland. I think it's quite a part of Wellington's charms. There are lots of seating area as well and I loved the atmosphere there.

We spent a mere half an hour strolling along whilst waiting for our table at El Matador which never came up (pls see our review re that awful experience) & saw some fascinating shops. Would love to have seen the area by day but sadly our time was very limited. Highly recommend a visit to Cuba st for shopping that's... More
