This area just a few blocks away from my hotel. The streets in the heart of the district are closed to traffic so it's nice to just walk through the area. There are many shops, restaurants, and bars.

I walked down this street by accident. I stopped off and had brunch which was nice, coffee very strong. This is a great street full of people walking around and there is plenty of dining places to enjoy!
very eclectic mix of cafes from Olive to Midnight espresso, as a people watching Leica weilding photographer, I love it.
This is a fun street to walk along, expecially on the weekends. It's always full of life with lots of shops restaurants and cafes. This is where we spent all of our weekends hanging out.
Micro culture - unique part of Wellington and fun shopping! And outstanding cafes - especailly the cuban and french - oustanding
Cute little restaurants along Cuba street, some interesting shops and second hand book stores. The Friday night market is tiny but quite interesting.
Cuba street district has everything, department stores, specialty shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, clothes.. if you want something you may well find it here. You can grab a drink at an outdoor bar and enjoy the atmosphere in the mall, sometimes there are buskers. Or wander along looking for a cafe that suits your mood.
