my wife went to church and was made very welcome by the parishioners. discussing were we were from and what we had liked about new zealand

“Old innercity church”

This old Anglican church is in great need of restoration. Pleasant on hte outside but poor in the inside. The best view is from the back of the church......disappointing aspect from Stae Highway One.

“Centrally located church”

St. John’s is about as central as you can get. While it is technically located on Esk Street, the building is better viewed from Tay St. Rather classical in design, it is a nice building and a nicely maintained complex that is worth a walk past to see.
