Seriously, this place is awesome. Great staff and a great product. Free samplers of all flavours. Yummmmmmm awesome apple ciders of all genres!

Web site photos make this place look fantastic. Today it was an empty, boring dusty hole in the wall along Brisbane Street. The lack of enthusiasm of the staff member behind the bar was incredible. He looked quite sick, so I felt sorry for him but it was a great disappointment. The ciders were varied, but with a lack of information about the product it was difficult to really enjoy the experience. We were told about the 'pink lady cider' but then informed there was none available to taste or buy. I wondered if we had stumbled into a secret society and the staff member was just waiting for, and wishing that, we would leave.

Great staff who were happy to chat and delicious pink lady apple cider. Only downside was they didn't have our favorite cider bottled to buy. But it was so good we went back!

A suggestion from a local and we were very pleased with the selection of ciders available. Cozy little place; friendly service and good value

The bar is very trendy both inside and out. However, we were disappointed by lack of enthusiasm by bar staff. It wouldve been great to have some information/tasting of cider when we arrived. Instead we felt hurried into buying pricey, boutique cider which wasn't to our tastes (even though there was only one other couple in the venue). No food on offer and loud music drowns conversation

We stopped in for a quick drink and instantly fell in love with this boutique ciderhouse. Chilled atmosphere and great service.

Dropped into the what used to me called Dickens Cider House to try out their ciders. Corey the owner, Afro man and cider maker was behind the jump and offered me a sampler of each of his ciders he had on tap that day. Apparently they change ciders on a regular basis. Though I am not an avid cider drinker I did find that three of the 5 on offer were quite suitable to my taste. Corey was the perfect host and had plenty of time to discuss his cider making styles even though the place was busy.
Unfortunately they do not do food, but the upside is that they will order in take away from the various places in the area and then you can sit down and eat your food whilst washing it down with another cider, or beer, or wine, or spirit as they also have these for serving as well.
Will definitely get back there.

If you like Cider go here for some interesting local flavours.
I was interested in their ciders as they use apples and pears not traditionally used in cider making.
My favourite was one made using Cox's Orange Pippen.

Great stop by before dinner. Had a taste of all the cider on tap before settling on a glass of Cox. Happy hour was $6 glasses on Thurs 5-7

Last night was my first visit. I attended the comedy night. As I was driving, I asked about 'light options' for drinks but unfortunately only full strength drinks are stocked. Might be an idea to add at least one light beer and the standard non alcoholic drinks. Price wise, the stubbie of awesome Tasmanian pale ale beer was $9.00 each, making this more expensive than an airport cafe. This is hugely over priced and a deterrent for me to buy more than a couple of drinks. I noticed last night that less than half the people attending the comedy show had a drink in hand. The comedy show was $5.00 cover charge.
The venue is small and intimate and the staff were friendly. There is very limited seating, but it would make a great location for an intimate chat on a cold night.
Pros-good staff, good location, intimate, not at all pretentious, bonus points for making an effort to support local talent
Cons-expensive drinks, no light beer options
Worth a visit just for the atmosphere.
