The cloth hall is definitely worth a look when you're visiting the square. Lots of high end souvenirs are found here. Unfortunately a shop owner yelled at me in Polish for taking a picture with a flash...she wasn't even in the picture! People should be careful when they have a complaint, it leaves a lasting impression. Bottom line, be careful... More

Souvenir shops lined up inside - some good buys here. Nice eating places outside, and a good square to sit and soak in the place

Great to wander through and browse the goods for sale. Not particularly pricey though there are some quality amber sellers with prices to reflect! Many souvenirs on offer and a great atmosphere.

Gifts for everyone ranging from the usual T-shirts and key-rings to fabulous amber jewellery and handicrafts all reasonably priced. The historic setting with it's dark wooden stalls make your shopping trip a unique experience.

Visited the Cloth Hall twice while staying in Krakow - this was definitely the place for amber jewellery and anything for souveniers without being too tacky.

Have not seen a Grand Place of the city which would have this kind of "marketplace" so near. Worth to spend few PLNs (local currency) here...

This historic building now houses several small stall units containing souvenirs/craft items. There are a wide variety to suit all purses, some "tat" as you'd expect, but mostly local items/momentos that are worth a look. Lots of carved wood, glass, amber as well as t-shirts etc

Cloth hall is one of the main attractions in the square, full of stalls with plenty to buy, but remember to barter. Plenty of restaurants and bars surrounding it.

Whilst we did not go into the art galleries within the Cloth Hall, we did spend a little time shopping in the many market stalls. I'm certainly no market expert, and whilst the stalls did sell the usual 'tat' in my opinion, there was a good spread of gifts available, all for reasonable prices.
