The story of the brave Polish people and their endurance during this time is beautifully and skillfully told. A touching and important experience. Especially important story to be told.

This museum warrants a visit while in Warsaw. It has monumental artificats from the Warsaw uprising, and ghetto. Rooms are set up to visit which show how the people lived in these horrific times. There are original tunnels, clothing and biographies of the heroes (some just young children) that were instrumental in fighting in the underground. There are videos throughout...

I arrived all ready for the experience but I had not brought ID so I could not get to use the headphones. Although disappointed, I was pleased to see that they had English translations of all the exhibits. Plan to spend at least three hours if you are at all interested in history... and a wonderful true story of what...

My memories from this place was that it was dark, very big and pretty boring in the end. You simply get a bit sleepy by the dark lighting and all the reading. Still, the information tells you a lot you probably haven't heard before. On such a big area there is also place for everything from an open auditorium, a...

certainly one of the best put together/informative museums i have ever visited..once you have braved the que for a ticket{25mins}and the angry lady who sells it to you!!.very odd design for the ticketing system that doesent work.museum itself fascinating and worth it..a must visit.
Having travelled much of Eastern Europe and visiting many museums I can honestly say that this was the best I have seen.
It is visually stunning, the building, lay out and displays very well thought out. The subject was inspiring - although I had heard and read about the Warsaw Uprising the full extent of what happened, the horrors experienced...

Spend an hour and learn more than you really want to know. Very good coverage of the way life was during WWII. Excellent!
It is quite shocking how unknown the horrors of the German occupation of Poland are to the Western public. The Warsaw Uprising - one of the largest battles of WW2, one of the largest urban battles ever (17 000 Wermaht/SS soldiers KIA and MIA), whole city destroyes in fighing and what was left destroyed as a collective punishment was for...

This museum portrays a very historically inaccurate picture of Poles during WWII (and that's putting it mildly).
The museum is laid out in a semi-chaotic way, which does not allow to watch the exhibits in a flow.
There's a lot of reading involved, most of which is irrelevant to most tourists.
Bottom line – with a very clear propaganda style...
