To us, the locals, it represents the everyday escape into the green. Mostly tree-lined and gravel paved, the path runs where Ljubljana was surrounded by a barbed wire fence during WW2 occupation. The "POT" is a path way that goes around Ljubljana, it is about 35 km long, most of the way is a lovely path between the trees. If you happen to be with bike, I recommend to make this trip all along, it shouldn't take more than 4 hours unless you'd stop from time to time for a drink or... More

The best way to stretch your legs is on this path and it goes all around Ljubljana!
