This building itself is amazing, and the interior follows through with that theme. We were there on a day when entry was free. Normal entry fee is not much though. One thing that was odd was the line to get in. We had to circle all the way around a maze, when there was NO line of people waiting at... More

You wouldn't know it, but this beautiful building is the largest Parliament Building in the EU or in general, Europe. The architecture really shows the hundreds of years of influence between the Ottoman Empire, Romans, and other wonderful cultures that have lasted hundreds and hundreds of years. A definite must to see. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy...the traveler from Southern... More

The visit inside takes about 30min, not really enlightening but it gives a good impression on how the republic of Hungary works. The outside is magnificent.

There is a chaos in front of the building because of the construction work. We bought tickets online and came in advance (in fact, too early - it is enough to come, say, 10 minutes before your tour starts and find out where people with tickets are waiting). The 45-min. visit definitely worth money, the building is very impressive.

Lovely from the outside, restored after WW2 (saw the pictures from the air raid bunker of it during the war!). We didnt book and it was sold out - recommend booking in advance online. Lovely landmark, based on Westminster.

Be warned - the whole area around is being renovated so there is a long pedestrian badly signed diversion. The tour tickets are available from the Enthnographical Museum but when we arrived there was a massive queue and only one kiosk open so we missed the tour we wanted to go on. We rebooked for 10.45 tour ( which is... More

The building is amazing!! It's amazing that it's still being used today and in such great shape, especially after WWII. I didn't have the issue with tickets, as I came with a tour and they took care of it for us, so I can't speak to that end. The tour takes about an hour, and being able to see all... More

I contemplated about this place when planning the trip. It just seemed so much trouble to make a trip to book ticket and then another trip to visit. But after the visit, I think it was very worthwhile. This was no ordinary parliament. The exhibits inside were special and the building was of course very beautiful.

We didn't know about buying the tix in advance so that messed things up for the beginning of this quest yesterday. We were told to come back today to buy them. We did, only to find out that we had to come back 2 1/2 hours later for the tour. By 1:00 or earlier, they were sold out for the... More
