We took the one day guided tour for 50 euro per person, Algis our guide was priceless, unbelievably knowledgeable and willing to share. The day started with a movie at the exhibition center that explained the parks ecosystem and it's floorings, after that we went on a canoe trip, and this is where Algis made it worth the money, as... Had a chance to visit Soomaa end of September. It was cold but it was worth it. Walk through the National Park, did some canoeing, tried the best local Estonian food, walked through 10,000 years old bogs. If you go there i suggest contact Aivar Ruukel, he will give you a true local insight to the park. More

I had the opportunity to visit Soomaa National Park in October, which is after the popular summer tourism season but still very pleasant (not too hot, not too cold), and - thanks to our wonderful local guides Aivar and Algis - had a very relaxing, memorable and educational experience canoeing and walking around the national park.
