When you are in Poland it is really a "must see" attraction. Renowned and well maintained, originating from 13th Century old Salt mine, with underground lakes, chapels, sculptures etc. Beautiful chandeliers, all decorated with salt crystals. If travelling from Krakow take the 304 bus - it goes directly there and is very cheap. There is a good guided tour and our guide spoke excellent English. The scale of this mine is something else, sculpture, lakesand the quality of the carvings is exceptional.
