the capitol building what a sight! very imposing ,but one does not realise the hill climb, the building is magnificent outside and inside ,but for someone who might be challenged with gait it could be difficult. but well worth the challenge.

This is the second time that we have seen the Steps, once in Orlando, and then again in DC. We have heard them on NPR several times. The troupe are all ex staffers for senators and house members as well as government staff, and it is a comedy troupe. We took our politically astute children (14, 17) there and a... More

Funny, silly show. Good for all ages except little kids. Great show for tourists to see while visiting D.C. but still fun for locals to see once in a while. Very reasonably priced. Parking is also easy too which is a nice bonus.

This is like political satire on Saturday Night Live, only better. The jokes come faster and are often very subtle. Sometimes the performers waited for the audience to catch up. Now, a DC audience is politically astute. This is a company town and politics is our main business. That tells you how sharp this company is. Besides being very funny,... More

Show consists of funny, fast-paced musical skits. Current political hijinks form the basis for clever lyrics set to the tune of popular songs. Both parties get skewered, but it's all in good fun. Both out-of-towners and local residents will find plenty to laugh at.

I took my high performers here for a celebration event. They were from as Far East as Japan, down to SAfrica and across the US snd EU. Everyone loved it. Great laughs at a great length...worth every penny!

We've seen the Steps about 7 or 8 times in the last 3-4 years. This show was the weakest one we've seen yet. The cast lacked the energy and enthusiasm we've seen from them in the past. The auditorium was only half full on a Friday night.

My husband and I were in DC for New Years and made a point to get to the Capitol Steps show that night before dinner. We have seen them in San Francisco and listened to their Halloween and New Year's shows on public radio for years. One of the best political comedy performances anywhere. We weren't disappointed this time either.... More
