A great trip to the top of the mountain, took about 20 minutes, great views, smooth ride, it was really a great experience, the highlight of our Aspen Adventure. A must do when visiting Aspen. Go to the information booth to get a $5.00 off coupon per person. That brings the cost down to 23.00 per person. I believe children... More

Two - four people small cars (or crowd in another couple) and an unobstructed view both up and down the valley. Not all that high above ground, lots of varied terrain. Meet Sylvester the tuxedo cat at the souvenir kiosk in the warming house and restaurant, and his mommy Libby!

Very reasonable and a great attraction. The ride was about 10 minutes, giving more than enough time to enjoy the breathtaking views of Aspen. There's a restaurant at the top ideal for lunch. A fantastic day trip. Recommend taking the gondola up and hiking down, take lots of water.

Plan to spend some time up on Aspen Mountain. There are plenty of trails to explore and placces to sit to just enhoy the mountain scenery. Well worth the time.

The views are great and the ride is comfortable. We didn't ski on this trip but rode up the mountain for lunch and for the view. The only negative is that is is a bit expensive for just a quick ride.

I am NOT a skier and am pretty wary of heights. But if you're in Aspen this has to be the least scary way of getting up Aspen Mountain to see the views (and get to Sundeck restaurant).

It says it takes only 18 minutes to ride the thing to the top of Aspen mountain, but I swear it will seem like 45 minutes, which is great. We took the gondola in July of 2012, so we got to see everything while it was "green" (as opposed to white). Words are not going to give the views justice,... More

Even if you do not ski, it's a must to ride up the gondola to the top of the mountain. Beautiful views year round. A great place to have lunch winter or summer.

Just hope your ascent isn't spoiled by some jerk that talks on the cell phone all the way up. How annoying is that?

Used the gondola to get to my niece's wedding reception. Was night and dark so had a lovely view of the lights in Aspen.
