Our resort arranged a tour with a guide called Alphonse. When we were picked up at our resort I became concerned as there were at least 16 if not 18 snorkelers on board our medium sized boat. My apprehension was not disappointed, when we arrived at Hol Chan, our guide spent no less than 30 minutes getting everyone in the... More

A very beautiful marine park that is protected. We went on a day sail on a catamaran by Seaduced. It was a perfect experience. We saw a lot of different kinds of fish and even some nurse sharks too!

We went out here with Baby Boy Tours booked through Sun Breeze resort, who not only gave a fantastic tour- but Russel and Asia were a blast! My expensive snorkeling mask + underwater HD camera clipon fell off the boat somewhere between Hol Chan and Caye Caulker, and after the tour was complete and we were back on Ambergris Caye-... More

My friend and I saw all sorts of marine life during our snorkel tour. We saw a sea turtle eating sea grass, groupers, sting rays, nurse sharks (also went to Sting Ray/Nurse Shark Alley to see more of them), conch, lobsters, groupers, barracuda, and much more. We had a very knowledgeable and fun guide too.

Gorgeous underwater park. My hats off to Belize for trying to preserve it. Wonderful place for underwater pictures whether diving or snorkeling.

Great guide, great amounts of different fish, and loved the nurse sharks we swam with. We would definitely recommend the trip for families.

We stayed at Matachica and left with a group from there with a Matachica guide named Charlie. Charlie's a great guy who is very knowledgeable about marine life in Belize. He's also a fishing guide at the resort so he knows his stuff. My wife did not want to go snorkeling, so we got some masks and snorkels from the... More

Tons of fish. They are used to being inundated with humans, so they are not afraid to get close. Saw nurse sharks, dolphins and many tropical fish. Get there early so it isn't too crowded. Water is calm.

Went with the company SEARIOUS. These guys know what they are doing. Pointed out all the different species of fish and coral and the history of the reserve. They are genuinely caring about the environment and love their job. Plus, delicious little coconut muffins and coca-cola for after snorkeling!
