Didn't like anything. The water is like kids bath, warm and full or urine. Just terrible. No facilities on the beach.

As an exchange student, my only issue was getting to this beach. Public transportation is not an option, either renting a car or taking a taxi are options.
Once you're at the beach, it is amazing! We were the only people at the beach, and weren't bothered by merchants like at Labadi. Once you're ready for lunch they have a...

Bojo Beach is a nice get-away from the typical beach in Accra. You have to pay 10GHS to access the beach but in exchange for this, you don't have to worry about many of the things that you'll find on beaches like Labadi - hawkers, for example. They have small shelters to sit under and some pretty tasty fast food...

Ok,, after many weeks in Accra and reading the reviews of people who have been there I decided to give it a try yesterday the 27th of May 2013.... (1) I knew the fees was 10 cedis and 3 cedis for my daughter so we went prepared.. After paying the fees the guy at the entrance gave me the 'no...

Bojo Beach came as a highly recommended alternative to Labadi, which though closer to Accra city centre, now has a reputation for being dirty and full of louts.
As we approached the sandbar that makes up the beach via a short boat ride across a lagoon, we were not disappointed. It looked beautiful and, as it was a weekday, was...

It was a nice time!!! as a group! the place is nice, enough place to dance and play if you don't intend to use the water. The staff are nice people and the atmosphere is serene. The hardest part is when you are getting ready to leave. It's really hard to leave... I enjoyed myself, my friends as well.
You have to pay to get into the beach but this assures you that it will be clean and that it has helpful staff. There is an odd Female urinal on the beach that smelt so bad I didn't dare go in to see how it worked! Lovely place and close enough to Accra for an easy day trip.
It is a fairly expensive place! One will have to pay 10cedis for entrance fee and no outside food or drinks are allowed to be brought in.. The food there is expensive as well, about 16cedis for chicken and fried rice! However, the beach and ambience is nice. Recommended to visit at least once!
This is a beautiful beach. The grilled fish is delicious. The sand is white and the waves are huge. You have to get in a canoe to get to the beach. this is one each worth visiting while you are in Ghana.
I like the place and the location. it is about 30mins outside of Accra. Little advise would be that they cut out the blurring music so people can relax on the beach a little:-)
