I didn't really see anything new in this district, mostly stores you've seen before. Might have missed some of the streets talked about in previous reviews since i didn't find this area very unique.

Absolutely wonderful place with lots of streets to wander around and most importantly lots of food to munch on! I did not shop there as I understand I could get cheaper items at night markets. Try the food from the hawker vendors there, if you see what you want to eat, buy it first as they always change their location....

Ximending has so many stores alongside the roads and street and there's always bustling with people - not so much that it becomes crowded and suffocating, just enough to make me feel in high spirits and excited to explore Taiwan and it's people. If you love shopping, come here and you will be satiated. There is a 'Modern Toilet Restaurant'...

This place has everything that a visitor needs. There lots of shopping to be done and also lots of eateries that makes the visitor spoiled for choice. Definitely a must to visit when one comes to Taipei
A truly magical place super crowded, I love this atmosphere full of people, lights and shops open until late. Many shops selling stuff at low prices and then restaurants of all kinds, I highly suggest to go here.
All the shops you will ever want in one place, price a little bit high. Smaller selection of street-food stalls than other Taipei's night markets.
Ximending is the Harajuku of Taipei. It's easily accessible by MTR or bus. You'll find many Japanese restaurants here and there are a lot of trendy stores. It's very popular and it gets very crowded in the evening/night.
good for shopping, hang out, eat . Many option clothes . This area close at 11 pm , so long time for shopping
Has a similar vibe to Japan's Harajuku but is much more watered down version of it. Has a good atmosphere with the young crowds and the tourists, you'll see most of the trendy young crowds in Ximending!
Great for shopping, eating etc. Not exactly the cheapest options in Taipei (as in you can get cheaper street buys at other areas in Taipei), but the Ximen area is safe, comfortable, has a nice energetic vibe to it - and it does have a few great treasures - although, you could be hard-pressed to find them again the next...
