Ximending has so many stores alongside the roads and street and there's always bustling with people - not so much that it becomes crowded and suffocating, just enough to make me feel in high spirits and excited to explore Taiwan and it's people. This place has everything that a visitor needs. There lots of shopping to be done and also lots of eateries that makes the visitor spoiled for choice. Definitely a must to visit when one comes to Taipei

A truly magical place super crowded, I love this atmosphere full of people, lights and shops open until late. Many shops selling stuff at low prices and then restaurants of all kinds, I highly suggest to go here.

Ximending is the Harajuku of Taipei. It's easily accessible by MTR or bus. You'll find many Japanese restaurants here and there are a lot of trendy stores. It's very popular and it gets very crowded in the evening/night.

Has a similar vibe to Japan's Harajuku but is much more watered down version of it. Has a good atmosphere with the young crowds and the tourists, you'll see most of the trendy young crowds in Ximending!
