It is a nice walk from the MRT station to the 'top" actual Hot Spring. Along the way there are small privately operated "hot spa". If you want to do that, be sure to bring your own swimwear. the walk is serene and you will walk by the well known Bei Tou renown library More

Lots to see&do in Bei Tou, with a great visitor center with attentive staff with lots of advice. You can choose from private/hotel hot springs (for various price levels) or go with a great local favorite for cheap! New Beitou hot spring or xin bei tou in chinese is a place with lots of volcanic activities. if you wanna have a try at the hot springs, you have 3 options. (1) go to a hot spring hotel and pay for a private dipping pool, (2) go to the public hot spring dipping pool for a very small fee.... More

I would recommended anybody to go to this hot spring. It has very nice scenery. Also, there are some museums in the areas. All are within walking distances. If you like hot spring bath, there are also half hourly plenty of hot bath house available. Enjoy! More

Just take the MRT to the New Bei Tou station, please observe and make sure you follow the sign board carefully if you do not have a map on your hand. We need to walk about 20 minutes to reach the "Hell valley". This is the source of the hot spring in New Bei Tou. The view in "Hell valley"... More

Try the public hotsprint to discover hot spring. This is a family place where young and older get to bath together in a relaxting atmosphere. The entrance fee is around 35NTS (1 usd)!
