I when there with a picture in my mind which is I am in a mountain area and with hotspring. but it turn out the hot spring is beside housing estate. but there is a lot of hotels that actually provide hot spring service too as they pump the water and provide it to tourists. ttourists can choose different price...

This is the best place In Taiwan. Relaxing but pricey. I love the place but quite far from Taipei. What a Zen!

Had a wonderful experience soaking in the hot spring in a private hotel. Definitely worth it to spend some money on a private room in the hotel so that there will be no need to jostle for space.

Find a hotel with hotspring facility inroom for privacy if you do not wish to go to a public one or not comfortable to go for the nude hot spring facility. Alternative is to book a 90 min private hot spring for around NT1500+/- from the hotels in the vicinity.

Beitou is easily accessible from Taipei City by MRT and bus. Take a stroll in the Beitou Park, visit the eco friendly public museum, thermal valley, Beitou hot spring museum and check out the many hot spring hotels in the area.

I would suggest that you go to Beitou Hot Spring at the last day of your trip after going to a series of night market hopping to relax your tired feet and muscles. It would be advisable to spend the whole day on Beitou. Be reminded that the Beitou Geothermal Valley will close by 5:00pm. Beitou Museum is closed on...

Take MRT on the red line to Beitou & change train to Sibeitou station. You know you are going to special place when the train interior is decorated in hot spring & forest theme.
