It is just so easy to understand and use the Skytrain service. And it is also a fast, efficient and cheap way to travel around. More

My partner & I are about to hit Bangkok AGAIN. we consistantly use the sky train to find our way to our destinations throughout Bangkok. It's cheap & on time. The computerised voice tells passengers the next train stop. Be prepared to be a bit pushy ( as do they ) otherwise you might just get shoved to the back &... More

Just returned from Thailand and this was by far the best way to get around central Bangkok. Tickets are cheap, train is airconditioned and there is always someone on the platforms to help you if you are having trouble. More

Soon worked out the system... More

We stayed in appartments beside the Chao Praya river and the traffic jams here can be bad if you are trying to use taxis/Tuk Tuks. A better idea 9we found) was to get the skytrain at Saphan Taksin and just travel up 3 stations to Sala Daeng, bypassing the main traffic bottlenecks and then using taxis to were ever we... More

After you have been in Bangkok a day you understand the only way to get any place is the Skytrain. Traffic is awful. NY City looks like a Sunday drive compared to Bangkok's traffic. The Skytrain is extremely easy to use. We had passes that you just placed on top of a scanner and off you went. The trains are... More
