Suspended in the sky on the 63rd floor of The Dome at State Tower, the Skybar is one of the world's highest open air bars, overlooking a panoramic view of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya river. With such an enthralling ambience coupled with a seductive selection of the finest vintages, beverages, cocktails and appetizers in Bangkok, the Skybar soars as one of the prized destinations in the city. No wonder, the rooftop bar is unanimously accepted as the coolest bar in Bangkok. « less

Excellent service, excellent drinks, amazing views. Highly recommend stopping in here before dinner, or for an after dinner drink. We were there on a Saturday night around 7, it was busy, but you could move around easily. They had live Jazz with singing which was a nice touch. Drinks are pricey, but you'd expect them to be at such a... More

The drinks are pricey not matter which part of the world you're from but the evening view is spectacular and well worth the price of a drink. More

We went here for a couple of cocktails before dinner (making sure we were there at sunset) and I'm so glad we did! The views are stunning and the service was excellent. The drinks were expensive but not compared to London! And they were very tasty. It was so relaxing being out of the noise of Bangkok for a few... More

So the drinks are expensive (about baht 1,800 for two G&Ts) but with these views, they are worth it! It really is an unmissable Bangkok expereince. Great for a pre-dinner drink. More

Enjoyed this bar. Make sure you wear conform with the dress code to avoid being denied entry.. Was surprised that some people seemed to get in wearing what looked like poolside wear ladies in shorts and T shirt? But saw a man not even get in the elevator with an ironed collared shirt nice shoes but had short pants on.Sure... More

You should experience the sunset from this beautiful bar. If you can avoid buying drinks, you could enjoy the Bangkok scenery without spending as much as the amount of tvelve dinners on two drinks. Though paying for the amazing view and the twenty people asking you to mind the steps, is worth it. More

We were a group of four ...what an awesome view of the city and the Chao Phraya river...the drinks were expensive compared to the other bars we visited ,but the ambience was worth the price! The signature Hangovertini made with green tea liquor, Martini Rosso, green apple juice and rosemary-infused honey was unusual but interesting! Yes, Drinks are pricier than elsewhere in Bangkok but its worth it - the views are immense!! Guys remember to wear full shoes, they won't let u in with sandals :) some locals recommended eating in the restaurant a few floors down as its a bit cheaper than the top floor, then heading up afterwards for a drink, enjoy! What an amazing bar. I went there last night and it was the last night of a group holiday. It was the perfect end to the trip. The settings within the Lebua are amazing and the views stunning. There is a waiting area (also on the roof, with great views), but if you order a drink, and are relaxed, you... More

The view is obviously the main attraction. It's breathtaking. The bar is overcrowded, drinks are rightfully expensive and nothing too special. For most tourists, the drinks won't be overpriced (mojitos were about $20 each), no more expensive than you'd pay at a downtown nightclub in Chicago. For some reason the staff is pretty strict on where you can take photos,... More
