Do not take an organised trip or speedboat to this island. They are overpriced. Instead walk through Walking Street to the Bali Hai Pier and walk along the pier to the ferryboat where you can travel to the island for just 30BHT each way. The island is getting a little too comercialised but the white sands are amazing and the... More

Pattaya is never famous for its beaches. Koh Laan is only a mere 20 minutes ride (by speedboat) from Pattaya. Water is clear & blue. Sand is soft & white. Swimming, snokelling, jet skiing or just simply lay down & soak in the sun... Plently of food are served there & some simple shopping too More

The big ferry out there is dangerous at times, people have drowned in accidents - few life jackets, no safety inspections. The beaches are clean, except after last year's floods when garbage was washed out to sea from Bangkok. Transportation and food are more expensive. I don't want to return. More

The Sea Walker must be experienced though bit costly. Koh Larn is excellent but avoid during Summer , it is unbearably hot. More

Hired a speed boat and was taken to the island - taken to a place where there are dozens of sunbeds and a very slick operation to get people in and out - the water was very shallow and spoilt by the amount of jet skis and speed boats - better than pattaya beach though - made a change for... More

A little disappointed as the best part of the day for us was the ferry ride over. Once you are there (on the back side/nice beach), there really isn't much to see and do. Probably should have gone to the other side of the island where the beaches aren't as pristine, but would have had more to do. More

There are plenty of places to stay at here. You can arrange a guest house when you get off the ferry. You can also rent a bike. People working on the island will be waiting for you once you get off the ferry so there is no need to search yourself--just go! Just make sure you agree on the prices... More

Must visit Coral island if you are planning even for a day in Pattaya. Full day tours comes with Lunch, travel by speed boat and return, etc....the indian visitors which are looking for Indian food during lunch should book with: http://www.sightseeingpattaya.com/pattaya_coral_island.html as this is the only tour operator which provides Indian Lunch as far as we know.
