Better than expected. Guide was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and fun. Just the two of us so no problem getting our questions answered. Now ready to get street food on our own. Going back for a cooking class in a couple of days.

We did the Street Eats Tour and we had Link as our guide. Link is a chef and passionate about Vietnamese food. His English is very good. We enjoyed the tour as we sampled different foods and walked around the market and the streets of Hanoi. There was a couple of taxi rides during the tour. The walking was not... More

This cooking class was excellent. We went to the local markets and introduced to different food and how its prepared in vietnam. The cooking itself was broken down into very easy steps, there was plenty of people to help you if needed. It was great sitting around and eating what was cooked talking to everyone. We were given a apron... More

Being keen foodies, our second trip to Hanoi was based around food and the street eats tour was perfect for that. We had a great, knowledgeable guide and a fun group of eight. The food was delicious and we went to places we wouldnt have tried on our own. Probably the most expensive thing we did in Vietnam, so its... More

We met our guide at the Hanoi Cooking Centre, and were served a cup of local tea at the restaurant. After everyone gets ready, we headed across the street for wet market. The guide is very knowledgeable and did a very good job in explaining. She even show us how to select the best fish sauce or spring-role skin etc.... More

This was the highlight of our time in Hanoi. We started the morning at the Hanoi Cooking Centre, where we met our guide and headed across the street for the best bowl of pho bo we had during our two weeks in Vietnam. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. From the pho restaurant, we went to a local market, where... More

Spent the morning on the Street Eats and Market tour. Well worth it! The only downside was there was so much food I couldn't eat it all...what a great way to see Hanoi and learn about the famous "street food scene".

One of the best things about Vietnam is their street food and a great way to dive into the scene is to do a food walking tour with a local. We meet at the Hanoi Cooking School in the morning and were served a local tea in a beautiful courtyard. Our guide was chef Ling; we started by having the... More

My husband and I did a cookery class and a street tour with Hanoi Cooking Center. About my rating - I would give the street food tour five stars, and the cookery class three stars, so I've averaged four stars for this review. Street food tour: We met with our guide at the centre - it was only the three... More

This street treats tour was one of the highlights of our stay in Hanoi. Two energetic young chefs from the center, guided our group easily through the city to 3 different markets and 5-6 different food vendors to taste the food and see how it was prepared. They easily accommodated my vegetarian needs and loved talking to us about all... More
