A simple cottage but you have to be patient in the long queue that snakes through the grounds and is continually moving so you can't linger to get a really good look. More

I found the location and the layout of the grounds interesting. The facsimile of his original house was lovely through I suspect it was a romanticised version. I wouldn't miss not seeing it. More

Amazing site and very we organised. You get to see the body of Ho Chi Minh, guarded and all very dignified. Then you can walk round his old residence, see his cars, view the one-leg pagoda - all very well organised, well worth a morning there! More

It was a mistake of timing to go there in Sunday’s morning. Under the hot sunlight, we stood with huge number of people in line from the gate. It is a long path to go through main spots. After the mausoleum, we passed by HCM’s house. The house and surroundings delivers the picture of a humble leader with refined hobbies.... More

Very interesting to see where Uncle Ho lived and worked, right next door to his Mausoleum. More

we found this to be fairly ordinary and we'd recommend it only if you have time to spare - otherwise work your way acros the site to the huge museum dedicated to Viet Nam and primarily to Ho Chi Minh - this is much more interesting. More

Dont miss the residence, once you have seen Ho Chi Min in his Mausoleum. The residence of the governor of Indochina is a fantastic French mansion. Sadly one is not allowed inside. In contrast Ho Chi Min's residence and garden house are simplicity itself. There are lots of tours, but going on your own is not a bad idea as... More
