This museum was great, the A/C wasn't strong enough for the day that we were there but it was still worth it. Ask for the student discount if you are a student.

I prefer the French name, Musee des Femmes du Vietnam. The displays are well thought out, the heroines of the struggle against the French and America is the best part for me, and the tribal stuff is very good too, the marriage section was interesting but the ante-natal section left me cold.
Not majorly into visiting museums but was so glad i visited this one! It was fascinating to see all the vietnamise women have done for their country!! Inspirational!! Also very well laid out!!
Parts of this museum were extremely informative and emotive, and really solidified a semi-understanding of the resilience of the Vietnamese spirit. These women are role models for everyone.
Admittedly though, some sections of the museum were superficially boring (parts that did not relate to history or culture) and not worth the effort.
All in all though, if you have time...

Well worth a visit. Close to the old quater an easy walk or a short taxi ride. This museum takes you on a journey of the important role the vietnames woman has, and what influance they have had in history.
Well laid out, airy, and fairly cool rooms. Factual information also in English. Found the video labour the women having to leave family to work in Hanoi for a pittance moving.
We really enjoyed our visit to the Womens Museum. Amazing amount of information on the role of women on Vietnam. Well worth a visit
it is nice to see However i did not like to see on the top of this Building because i traveled many Places so i think i came to vietnam to see vietnamese culture not Singapore
A lovely museum that is definetly worth a visit. But lack a little substance to occupy you more than 1 hour or so
Great to get a sense of how women played a role as revolutionaries and in the War. Also really interesting exhibits on Motherhood and marriage.
