Known as 6 Le Nin to locals as its says on the plinth V.I. Le NIn, the Lenin stature is stauted in a little park opposite the war museum and close to other main sites. It does not have the same cachet as in the past as I saw boys playing football in front of it just the other day.

Accidently came across the statue. Dont waste you time looking for it. Surprised that it is still standing. The park was small but pretty.

Opposite the War Museum and on the edge of the embassy area of Ha Noi - interesting in terms of the throwback to another era of the Cold War and the Soviet era that is no more.

Across from The Army Museum, this statue is in a small park full of real Hanoi life. Don't expect anyone to consider the political implications. And don't ask about them. Lenin guards an empty square, which is used in early morning for exercise, and in the evening for community dancing, children's games. Life goes on under Lenin's outreached arm. It's... More
