I enjoyed Saigon cooking class twice within a week - first for a team-building event with 70 participants and then for the 1/2 day cooking class with visiting the market. Both I could recommend wholeheartedly. Chef Phung has a great, fun personality, speaks perfect English (lived a couple of years in the US) and always manages to keep the attention... More

We did this in a group of 17 with range of ages from 4 to 50 and had a fun time. The staff were friendly and patient! The food was tasty, despite us cooking it.

This cooking school was a lot of fun, I would say that you don't really do a lot of cooking in the class that I did, but all in all it is a good day activity. The market walk was very detailed and they spent time to explain every question I had and how to use the items. It is... More

As a tourist, we are not interested in museums n that's y I decided to find some activities via tripadvisor. Although we are very familiar with wet market, the local market visit still fun to us coz the guide introduced many special ingredients to us. I accompanied with my husband to join the class but the cooking was not hard... More

To better appreciate Vietnamese food, the Saigon Cooking Class will give you a brief glimpse into the life cycle of this culinary treasure. Morning starts in the market with your chef walking you through the stalls explaining various foods. Then it's off to the cooking school where it's hands on experience crafting various dishes. Chef Hung is extremely knowledgable and... More

It was the best cooking experience I've had. Everything is very clean and organized. The Chef is very friendly. And is so nice tasting our own food, made as a real Chef!

This was the one thing I definitely wanted to do on our trip and we managed to fit it in on the last morning of our in Vietnam. We met at the market, which was great and a real chance to see the locals in action, although we were told this was a very touristy market. Back at the restaurant... More

I happened to have 1 extra day in Saigon after a week in Vietnam and decided to take the Saigon Cooking class on my last day. The class was excellent! It was extremely well organized and professional, and much of the things were prepped in advance, so that we could focus more time on how to learn the dishes. On... More
