The museum was very confronting for two reasons-one:most of the displays, especially the photos, depict the horrors of war in a real in-your-face type way. The photos of the disfigurement and retardation caused by the Agent Orange bombings were both sickening and saddening at the same time; and, two:the story is told purely from the point of view of the...

This was the first museum that made me cry. I am a grown up man, not super macho but a museum bringing me to tears is new to me. I am neither Vietnamese nor American but the history of the Vietnam war really touched me. Must visit.

Worth a visit. Brings the horror of war out in the open. Quite distressing to see the displays of the atrocities, but I suppose many countries could put on the same display, about past conflicts in their country.

Much better than 17 years ago when I first visited. Now more like a conventional western museum. A bit sad after visiting.

only about AUD2-3 to get in. Has many tanks and other machines from the war. The picturs of people affected by the war is very confronting.. not a place for children. Very moving and sobering but important to see.

I found the displays very comprehensive but very sad and heartwrenching, to see what happened and the results of war.
