This tomb was the first we visited in the day and it was a manageable size. Fun sculptures, interesting mosaics.

Very ornate, high steps to ge to the top, the view is nice, but it is the tombs and ornate interiors which are the highlights.

This is a small site and can be visited within 30 minutes. Although it is quite ornate the workmanship is incredible. Very colorful. How they create the columns and walls incorporating ceramics is a mystery and must be incredibly precise and time consuming. Worth a quick look in.

Tu Duc was nice, but this one, though smaller, was more impressive. Khai Dinh mausoleum is one of the mausoleums of Nguyen Kings. It is different from others because this king has the point of view as western while others follow Orient. This is one of the choices which tourists visit in Hue city

I really enjoyed this hillside tomb. Different in colour and structure than the other 2 that I visited, Minh Mang and Tu Duc. The energy you save on walking around the huge grounds of other tombs you need to walk up the stairs here. It's well worth the climb up the stairs to view this construction.
