One of the best examples of the 60's as the 'golden period' of Phnom Penh. Build by Van Molivan, the famous Khmer architect, this monument is part European and part referring to Angkorian architecture in its design. Go there in the evening time when you see the combination of traffic and citylights that give the whole a certain petropolitan flair.

part of my many walks around Phnom Penh. Came acorss this monument as I was heading for what I call "embassy area"
