Tis is must area to go to see outside. The pyramid and independence palace as well as art academy and now being built new museum of Kazakhstan. Very impressive modern building. To go insidoutsiders you have time as there are mostly conference facilities, small gift shop and art gallery of a famous local artist

Astana is justly proud of this rather beautiful building. It is worth getting a guided tour to really introduce the building conceptually and point out features of the design..

The building is probably the one I like the most in Astana. The top part is really nice too. they have tours in Russian, but also in English arranged for 3 USD.

From outside you cannot realize how big it is... The elevator shows 8 floors. It comprises a big concert hall, a huge foyer and a big next floor for exhibition and on top a circular meeting room with 15 places with a nice view over Astana.
