I went here only because it was marked on my map and I happened to be nearby. I was actually more interested in the architecture, since I'm not crazy about watercolors, but in the end I enjoyed the contents of the house as much as the house itself. It is located in the White City or Bauhaus area and is... More

I went few years ago to view an exhibition of Rubin at Tel aviv museum of art. And as my son drawing was about to be exposed at Rubin's museum I got excited. But, I was disappointed as there were not guides to explain, tell or indicate anything to do with Rubin's life and art. It was only the paintings.... More

This museum is probably one of the best I have been in. Rubin is brought to life and so nice to be able to read the background on the artist. His love of painting and Israel shines through in his work.

It was interesting to see the house where Reuven Rubin lived and painted. A video told his life story and presented lots of insights into his paintings. If you'd like to see the inside of an old Tel Aviv house and also get to view some of a famous painters work, be sure to stop by.

It is his home. Full of art works, includes a bit of biographical info and situated near other places of interest so can be part of a beautiful walk. that should include Nahalat Binyamin

Reuven Rubins was a dreamer and poet who painted his feelings for Jaffa on canvas. His art encompasses portraits of personalities of the day, as well. Makes one wistful about the 1920's, and the contributions of an aliyah of professionals and artists. Paris and Jaffa were the places to be.

I loved this beautiful little museum. It's a window back in time to a Tel Aviv that was all small and familiar and along the walls are paintings of Rubin of the Tel Aviv he saw outside his window. I had such a good time, I nearly spent two hours there! A great way to get away from the heat... More
